First Responder Appreciation Day
Each year, Miura proudly hosts the First Responder Appreciation Day, inviting local first responders and their families to enjoy a fun-filled day of food, games, and live music.
Launched in 2023, the event has quickly become a beloved tradition in Polk County and the surrounding area. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, we’ve been able to create a memorable experience for those who tirelessly and selflessly work to keep our communities safe.
Japan Day at the Georgia State Capitol
Miura America, a subsidiary of The Miura Group based in Matsuyama, Japan, is always proud to participate in Japan Day at the Georgia State Capitol. This exciting event brings together leaders from the GA-Japan Legislative Caucus to celebrate the strong relationship between Georgia and Japan. This year’s Japan Day was particularly special as it marked the 50th anniversary of the Consulate General of Japan’s office in Atlanta. We always enjoy the opportunity to network with fellow Japanese companies and explore new ways to better serve the state of Georgia.
PPE Donation During Early Pandemic
Miura donated thousands of surgical and KN95 masks to local medical centers and assisted living facilities. We also allocated over 13,000 masks for Miura’s internal and rep use across the country.
Sponsoring Local Welding Academy
To support local students pursuing college in Polk County, Miura donates funds and provides career advancement opportunities to the local academy.
Student Factory Tours
To help teach kids more about STEM in the manufacturing industry, a local elementary school toured our headquarters facility.

Each year, Miura collects toys for local children in need during a time of the year when donations are not as prevalent.
