Miura America’s Carrie Murakami Honored with Inaugural WIBI Rising Star Award
Rockmart, GA – Miura America is proud to announce that our very own Carrie Murakami has been named the inaugural recipient of the WIBI Rising Star Award, presented by the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA). This prestigious honor recognizes Carrie’s outstanding contributions to the boiler industry and her commitment to advancing innovation and excellence in the field.
Carrie was celebrated as the Guest of Honor at the 2025 ABMA Annual Meeting, where her achievements were highlighted as part of an initiative to shine a spotlight on the vital role of women in the boiler industry.
The Women in the Boiler Industry (WIBI) professional community was launched to promote, inspire, support, and connect women in this dynamic field. ABMA’s Vice-Chair, Nancy Simoneau of Groupe Simoneau, and Marketing Director, Shaunica Jayson, spearheaded this initiative to create a platform for networking, raising awareness of a diverse workforce, and advancing the boiler industry.
At Miura America, we are honored to have such a trailblazing professional among our ranks and look forward to supporting Carrie as she continues to inspire others in the industry.
